2025年2月1日，爱丁堡文化盛事再添辉煌篇章！作为爱丁堡文化日历中不可错过的经典活动之一，中国新年音乐会在亚瑟厅（Usher Hall）隆重回归。今年欧亚交流协会（AACCEE）举办这一盛会的第十个年头，中苏音乐家们再次以精彩纷呈的演出，为观众呈现了一场融合东西方文化的音乐盛宴。

On 1st February 2025, Edinburgh’s cultural calendar welcomed another dazzling highlight as the much-anticipated Chinese New Year Concert made its grand return to Usher Hall. Marking a decade of festivities organised by the Asian Association of Culture Commerce and Education in Europe (AACCEE), this milestone event brought together talented musicians from China and Scotland for a mesmerising evening of music, blending Chinese and Scottish traditions in a truly unforgettable performance.

在爱丁堡市政府、中国驻爱丁堡总领馆、中国银行（英国）有限公司、红石再生能源有限公司、海南航空公司及众多合作伙伴的支持下，中国新年音乐会已从一场单纯的文化演出，发展为苏格兰各界共同参与的盛大庆典。音乐会不仅展现了中国传统文化的独特魅力，更成为多元文化交流与团结的象征。

With the support of the City of Edinburgh Council, the Chinese Consulate-General in Edinburgh, Bank of China (UK) Limited, Red Rock Renewables Limited, Hainan Airlines, and many other partners, the Chinese New Year Concert has grown from a cultural performance into a major celebration embraced by communities across Scotland. Showcasing the unique charm of Chinese traditions, the concert has become a symbol of multicultural exchange and unity.

在演出前的VIP酒会上，爱丁堡市长罗伯特·阿尔德里奇，中国驻爱丁堡总领事张飙，苏格兰议会代表约翰·普里姆罗斯发言，告诉赞扬欧亚交流协会这10年来对促进中苏友谊所做出的努力和贡献。

At the VIP reception before the performance, Edinburgh’s Lord Provost Robert Aldridge, Chinese Consul General in Edinburgh Biao Zhang, and Scottish Parliament representative John Primrose delivered speeches, praising the AACCEE for its dedication and contributions over the past decade in strengthening ties between China and Scotland.

2025年是爱丁堡与西安结为友好城市40周年。酒会上，欧亚交流协会会长郭慧杰女士也向爱丁堡市长赠送了一份来自西安的特别而富有意义的礼物。这些礼物是由西安美术学院的学生精心剪纸创作的作品，其中包括爱丁堡的地标建筑，以及一些对现代文明做出重大贡献的苏格兰人物，如经济学家亚当·斯密和民族诗人罗伯特·伯恩斯。

The year 2025 marks the 40th anniversary of sister city partnership of the city of Edinburgh and Xi’an. At the reception, Ms. Huijie Guo, Chairperson of the AACCEE, presented Edinburgh’s Lord Provost with a special and meaningful gift from Xi’an. The gift featured intricate paper-cut artworks created by students from Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts, depicting Edinburgh’s iconic landmarks alongside influential Scottish figures who have made significant contributions to modern civilisation, including economist Adam Smith and national poet Robert Burns.

当晚的演出节目丰富多彩，涵盖了众多中西方经典作品。音乐会由爱丁堡交响乐团演奏的《春节序曲》拉开序幕，热烈欢腾的旋律瞬间点燃全场气氛。随后，ESO演奏《Chatterbox Polka》和《天路》，展现了别样的节日氛围。

The evening’s programme was a vibrant showcase of both Chinese and Western classics. The concert opened with a rousing performance of Spring Overture by the ESO, instantly igniting a festive atmosphere. This was followed by ESO’s renditions of Chatterbox Polka and Heavenly Road, offering a unique and celebratory musical experience.

年仅十四岁的小音乐家雷亚·菲茨杰拉德（Rhea Fitzgerald）携手ESO倾情演绎了莫扎特C大调第二十一号钢琴协奏曲第三乐章，旋律悠扬动人。之后，来自天津的女高音艺术家苑桢为给观众深情演唱了《我爱你中国》，唱出了众多海外华人的思乡之情。

The talented 14-year-old musician Rhea Fitzgerald joined the ESO for a heartfelt performance of the third movement from Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 in C Major, captivating the audience with its graceful and expressive melody. Following this, soprano Zhen Yuan from Tianjin delivered a deeply moving rendition of I Love You China, striking a chord with many overseas Chinese in the audience and evoking a profound sense of nostalgia.

上半场的最后，来自斯特拉撒伦学校的风笛与鼓乐队演奏了爵士五重奏，乔·亨德森的《Recorda Me》，以及的酷玩乐队的经典曲目《Fix You》，为音乐会增添了别具一格的现代气息。

To close the first half of the concert, the Pipe Band from Strathallan School delivered a unique and modern twist with their performances. They played a jazz quintet arrangement of Joe Henderson’s Recorda Me and a stirring rendition of Coldplay’s classic Fix You, adding a contemporary flair to the evening’s programme.

在中场休息后，十三岁小音乐家叶茗萌（Becca Ye）的管风琴演奏为音乐会带来了恢弘震撼的音效。随后，戈登舞蹈学校的小舞者们又为观众带来了热情洋溢的苏格兰舞蹈。

After the interval, 13-year-old musician Becca Ye delivered a stunning organ performance, filling the hall with its powerful and majestic sound. This was followed by a lively and energetic display of Scottish dance by the young dancers from the Gordon School of Dancing, delighting the audience with their spirited performance.

音乐会的高潮迭起。下半场，ESO演奏了施特劳斯的《蓝色多瑙河》，《拉德斯基进行曲》等多个经典曲目，悠扬流畅的旋律令全场沉醉。《花好月圆》寓意美好团圆，带给观众无限温馨。最后，在ESO和斯特拉撒伦学校的风笛一起合作，全场齐声合唱《友谊地久天长》，为这场盛会画上完美的句号。

The concert was full of thrilling moments. In the second half, the ESO performed several classic pieces, including Strauss’s Blue Danube and the Radetzky March, with their flowing and melodious tunes captivating the audience. Hua Hao Yue Yuan symbolised the beauty of reunion, bringing a sense of warmth to everyone. Finally, in a collaboration between the ESO and the Pipe Band of Strathallan School, the entire audience joined in to sing Auld Lang Syne, bringing the event to a perfect conclusion.

十年来，中国新年音乐会不仅成为苏格兰民众了解中国文化的重要窗口，也成为连接两国友谊的桥梁。今年的“重逢”主题，让观众与艺术家们共同回顾往昔、展望未来，在音乐的共鸣中增进理解、凝聚情谊。

Over the past decade, the Chinese New Year Concert has not only become an important window for the people of Scotland to learn about Chinese culture but also a bridge connecting the friendship between the two countries. This year’s “Reunion” theme allowed the audience and artists to reflect on the past and look towards the future, deepening understanding and strengthening bonds through the resonance of music.

值得一提的是，我们的老朋友——著名京剧演唱家虞晓梅特别通过视频为观众送上新春祝福，表达了对爱丁堡的深厚情谊。此外，海南航空和土耳其航空还慷慨提供了免费的中英往返机票作为抽奖礼品，为现场观众带来了额外的新春惊喜。

It is worth mentioning that our dear friend, the renowned Peking opera singer Xiaomei Yu, specially sent her New Year greetings via video, expressing her deep affection for Edinburgh. In addition, Hainan Airlines and Turkish Airlines generously provided free round-trip tickets between China and the UK as prizes, adding an extra surprise for the audience this New Year.
