A beloved highlight of the city’s cultural scene, the Chinese New Year Concert makes its grand return to Usher Hall. This year, we bid farewell to the Year of the Dragon and warmly welcome the Year of the Snake, celebrating an extraordinary milestone — the concert’s 10th anniversary!

过去十年里，在爱丁堡市政府、中国驻爱丁堡总领馆、中国银行（英国）有限公司及其他合作伙伴的支持下，这一音乐会已从一场文化演出发展为苏格兰各界共同参与的盛大庆典。不仅展现中国传统文化，更成为多元文化交流与团结的象征。Over the past decade, with the support of the City of Edinburgh Council, the Chinese Consulate-General in Edinburgh, Bank of China (UK) Limited, and other partners, the Chinese New Year Concert has grown from a cultural performance into a grand celebration embraced by communities across Scotland. It not only showcases the richness of Chinese traditions but also stands as a symbol of cultural exchange and unity.

今年的主题：“Reunion/重逢”我们将邀请历年来的志愿者、艺术家和音乐家重聚舞台，带来震撼心灵的舞狮表演、激情洋溢的高地舞蹈，以及爱丁堡交响乐团的动人旋律。这将是一场超越文化界限的盛会，也是一份满载温暖的“重逢之礼”。

This year’s theme is “Reunion”—a heartfelt celebration of togetherness. We are bringing back volunteers, artists, and musicians who have graced the stage over the years to create an unforgettable evening. From breathtaking lion dances to spirited Highland performances and the enchanting melodies of the Edinburgh Symphony Orchestra, this event transcends cultural boundaries, offering a warm and joyous “gift of reunion” to all.
